Careers in education are highly rewarding and there are a number of different routes you can take once you are qualified. Our courses are offered on a full-time basis and part-time basis in the evenings to fit around your existing role.

If you are considering a career in teaching post-16 learners, or if you are currently working as a verifier or assessor, our courses are designed to help you improve your knowledge of working in education. We have course options including the PGCE/Cert Ed, the DET, the AET (formerly known as PTLLS, which is ideal if you are looking to work in this area) and TAQA qualifications.

Student success

The success rates of our Teaching & Training students are well above benchmark at 92%, and have improved year on year for the last three years: 87%, 91% and 92% respectively. This demonstrates that studying with us will give you excellent opportunities to become an effective practitioner in your educational area.
