Overview
Assessing Occupational Achievement City & Guilds Level 3 Award (6317-64)The City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Assessing Occupationally Related Achievement is designed for individuals who assess vocational knowledge, skills and behaviours outside of the workplace. It is an ideal qualification for trainers, teachers, tutors and assessors who assess learners in classroom, training, workshop or simulated environments.
This qualification develops both the underpinning knowledge of assessment principles and the practical skills required to plan, carry out and evaluate assessments. Learners will gain an understanding of assessment methods, quality assurance processes and legal requirements while demonstrating their ability to assess knowledge, skills and behaviours effectively.
Unlike qualifications focused on workplace competence, this award is specifically aimed at assessment activities that take place outside the work environment. Simulation can be used where appropriate and permitted.
