If you’re looking for a more relaxed course, there are a variety of options from improving your painting skills to learning how to keep livestock. Our short leisure courses enable you to learn new skills and meet new people at one of our many locations across the region.

You can also study our full-time courses at Level 2 and 3. Having a professional qualification will really help your career prospects. And depending on your age and what course you choose to study, you might not have to pay a penny towards your tuition or exam fees!

All full-time Level 2 courses are now FREE for everyone, whatever their age.

If you are looking to study a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to A-Level), courses are still FREE if you’re aged under 19 or 19-23 and studying your first full Level 3 qualification. If you’re aged over 23 or studying a second Level 3 qualification, you will need to pay a fee.

Distance Learning courses

Our distance learning courses give you the opportunity to gain skills and a qualification without disrupting your day-to-day life.  Provided you are over 19 and have lived in the UK or EU for the past 3 years, all of our Level 2 courses are free.

Advanced Learning Loans Courses

STUDY NOW, PAY LATER

Don’t let money be a worry! Low-interest loans.

If you’re aged 19 or over on the start date of your chosen course, you can apply for a loan to cover the tuition fees for some Level 3+ qualifications. There’s also nothing to pay back until you’ve completed your course and you’re earning over £25,000 per year!

Distance Learning Courses

Our distance learning courses give you the opportunity to gain skills and a qualification without disrupting your day-to-day life. All of the Level 2 courses are free courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any time throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.

You will have access to specialist support from dedicated tutors throughout the programme, to help you complete the course. You can choose to work either through online assessments or using printed workbooks.*

*Please note that to complete the courses online you must have an internet connection.

Free courses for the unemployed

You could be eligible for free study if you are unemployed and on one of the following benefits:
