The Schools Engagement team works with schools and individuals who are interested in finding out more information about what The Bedford College Group can offer and the options available after GCSEs and A-Levels.

We are available to talk about any of the following: Full-Time Study Programmes, Application Process, Enrichment, Transport, Bursaries, Course progression and Careers.

Activities that we offer

These include assemblies, advice & guidance sessions, lunchtime drop-in sessions, preparing for college workshops, course routes workshops (vocational courses including T Levels, Apprenticeships and A-Levels), careers events, parents evenings, taster sessions, buddy days and college tours.

Our staff give information to students in Years 10-13 on Further Education, Higher Education and apprenticeship opportunities at Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Tresham Colleges as well as our specialist colleges, The National College for Motorsport at Silverstone and our land-based college Shuttleworth College in Old Warden, Bedfordshire, which has residential accommodation.
