Principles of Cyber Security NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)This qualification will provide learners with sector awareness. It will do this by introducing the knowledge and understanding of roles and issues relating to Cyber Security.
As the world becomes increasingly digital, cyber security is a growing concern. It is essential that organisations have an understanding of measures to maintain cyber security, including techniques and security checks needed to combat threats such as complex online scams and cyber crime.
Why study this course?
You will be keen to gain a better understanding and build upon existing knowledge of Cyber Security issues, perhaps with a view to studying at a higher level/ seeking employment in the field.
All of the Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.

You will study:
- Introduction to cyber security
- Understand terminology used in cyber security
- Understand legal and ethical aspects of cyber security
- Understand common threats to cyber security
- Understand methods of maintaining cyber security
- Working with others in cyber security
