Tractor Driving And Related Operations City & Guilds, NPTC Level 2 Certificate

Shuttleworth Tractor HE

Overview

Competence in Tractor Driving and Related Operations CG NPTC Level 2 Certificate

This course covers the safe driving of an Agricultural tractor, pre- start maintenance checks and safety checks and recognition of controls and instruments. During your assessment the tractor is to be driven safely and correctly through a range of situations (including reversing with a trailer).

The course will cover trailer hitching and attaching 3-point linkage and PTO driven attachments correctly and safely. There is also an optional unit that covers the use of tractors fitted with a front end mounted loader, which can be added as an additional option.

Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Tractor Driving and Related Operations. This qualification is issued for life, however NPTC recommends that refresher training is carried out every three to four years.

As well as being held at the college, this course can be delivered on your own site, using your own equipment ensuring your employees are trained in the environment they are most familiar with and at a time that best suits you (please contact admissions to discuss your requirements).

This course is 3-4 days (A 4th day can be added if you require front loader training, this will bring the total cost to £450).
