Land-based Forklift Truck Operations (Rough Terrain, Mast & Telescopic) NPTC Level 2 Award

Shuttleworth Field part-time

Forklift Truck Operations (Rough Terrain, Mast & Telescopic) NPTC Level 2 Award

This training course is suited for the person with some experience of using telescopic lift trucks but requires the official training and assessment qualifications for the rough terrain telescopic machine. Under HSE regulations the telescopic handler is classed as a lift truck and not an agricultural machine, so the relevant Lift Truck regulations apply in operators gaining the official training and competence qualification.

Suitable for an operator that has some pre-experienced of using lift trucks. Practical and theory tests need to be passed at the end of the course to entitle the operator to gain the certificate of competence. The course is accredited with the City & Guilds NPTC certification up on successful completion of the training and assessment test.
