Our 2023  Welcome Days are round the corner

We appreciate that you may have some questions, and to assist you, we have prepared the following Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) below.

What are the timings for the day?

The timings of the day are 9.00am – 2.30pm.

Is there is disabled access/parking for parents?

Yes. We have accessible parking available.

Do students need to bring money?

Lunch will be provided for you and we are cashless on the campus. If you wish to buy drinks or other food from the canteen then it will require card. 

Is there a dress code?

There’s no set dress code but please wear appropriate clothing.

Is it compulsory for parents to attend coffee/Danish morning?

No. Parents can attend if they would like to.

Can students attend late if they have other commitments in the morning?

If you cannot join us first thing, please go to Reception and we will direct you where to go.

I cannot attend that day

The Welcome Day is the perfect time to get all your questions answered and meet your friends for the year ahead, but if you are unable to attend, don’t panic. You will have a second opportunity to come in for enrolment in August and all information will be available on our website.

What happens if I don’t attend, how will I get the information that is missed?

Don’t worry, you will still have a place.

How long will the parent’s session be?

The parent sessions will be taking place from 9.00am to 9.30am.

Can they bring a plus one?

Yes for the coffee session but not the welcome day.

What should I do if the links aren't working?

Please call us on 0345 658 8990 or email as soon as possible. We will send a pdf attachment.

Do I need to bring anything?

Water bottle, pen paper, debit card and check your email for any further information.

Where should I go if I have multiple offers?

We would suggest that you attend the Welcome Day for the course you are least sure about.

Will I lose my place if I don't attend?

No, your place is still secured if you can’t make the event. If you have any questions please email:

I have food allergies or dietary requirements

We will provide a range of options including vegan, halal and gluten free food, but if we don’t have something suitable at the street food stand, you will be able to purchase alternative food at our café Munch and Mocha, or feel free to bring something in from home. 

Is there public transport?

Please check the transport companies near you.

Can I bring a friend who hasn't applied?

No, this event is only for applicants who have been offered a place.
