The way in which music is consumed is changing; the rapid growth of the media sector over the last ten years has created many opportunities for audio professionals, from sound design and composition for moving picture, to audio technologies for games and mobile phones.
We aim to provide you with a solid grounding in the workings of the music industry, whichever level you are currently at, and to give you the skills to succeed. Our courses give you the opportunity to experience the many facets of the music industry through live projects, workshops and tutorials.
Expert tutors and top-class facilities
If you want to learn music production, live performance, sound design, music for media or studio techniques, you’ll learn cutting edge skills in our amazing facilities. At our Bedford campus, our Apple Logic and Pro Tools Training centre houses the latest equipment with two recording studio suites, computer editing rooms, rehearsal rooms, performance rooms and a theatre.
At Kettering, you will be using state-of-the-art soundproof rehearsal rooms and music equipment. You’ll spend your time between the Mac suite with Logic Pro X, a recording studio and the rehearsal pods, culminating in performances in our performance hall and external venues.
At both campuses you will be taught by excellent tutors with many years of experience from across areas of the industry.
