Wedding Designs Workshop: BeginnersThis beginners workshop is designed to give learners the opportunity and challenge of producing simple floral designs for weddings. This course is for learners who have a passion for floristry and would be suitable for anyone wanting an introduction of how to make simple wedding designs. The course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to create a variety of special floral designs for the beginner. The art of complementing flowers and colours together requires expertise and extreme attention to detail. During this course you will be instructed on simple wiring and tying techniques to help create beautiful wedding designs.

Entry requirements
There are no formal qualifications required but some floristry experience is preferred. You must also be over the age of fourteen.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment on this course, though you will be informally assessed occasionally as an aid to the development of your skills.
What will I study?
This course will focus on the choice of materials, the use of colour and form, and the handling and care of flowers. By undertaking this course you will be able to practise different techniques using a range of different media. Learning will focus on creating and experimenting with special designs based on wedding designs.

Upon completion of this course you could progress onto further Floristry courses at the College.
