Overview
Understanding Dignity & Safeguarding in Adult Health & Social Care NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)This qualification aims to give you the knowledge and understanding of the key principles of dignity, duty of care and safeguarding as applied to adult health and social care.
You will investigate the principles and how they are applied in everyday work contexts. You will also have an opportunity to examine the dilemmas that can arise and the consequences when these principles aren’t upheld
All of the Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.
Course Information
This programme consists of four units:
- Understanding Safeguarding in Adult Heath and Social Care
- Principles of Dignity in Adult Health and Social Care Practice
- Understand Duty of Care in Adult Heath and Social Care
- Understand Dilemmas and Public Concerns in Adult Health and Social Care
Written assignments (online or paper-based).
You will gain:
- Understanding Dignity & Safeguarding in Adult Health & Social Care TQUK Level 2 Certificate
There are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another Level 2 distance learning course or a Level 3 one. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course or other further education courses (subject to entry requirements).
Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
