This qualification aims to provide practical guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding on the management of electrical safety, with particular emphasis on low voltage safe isolation procedures to be followed during construction and refurbishment projects, and during maintenance activities.
This qualification is aimed at
- Duty holders, Managers and supervisors responsible for safe working practices
- Electricians working on construction/refurbishment projects and carrying out maintenance and fault finding activities
- Other trades who are required to safely isolate electrical equipment prior to mechanical maintenance activities.

What are the benefits of studying this course?

What will I study?
At the end of the course, delegates will:
- Study number of chapter and modules that help you to gain necessary knowledge to be able to carried out safe isolation.
- The workshop will confirm the individual understands how to correctly use test equipment to isolate all of, or part of, and electrical installation to allow safe work.
During your study you will cover a range of knowledge and skills across areas including design project.

- Electrical safety equipment for safe isolation purposes
