Overview

Pre Access in Health, Social Care & Social Work

Our Pre-Access to Higher Education courses build the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to progress on to a higher education Level 3 qualification in the subject area you’re interested in.

Are you interested in working in healthcare but don’t have the necessary qualifications? Then our Pre-Access courses maybe for you. Our Pre-Access Level 2 course is the course to lead directly onto the Level 3 Access course. Areas available for study on this programme are Humanities, Health, Science and Social Sciences. Both the Pre-Access and Access courses are designed to lead to further university study.

This is a short 20-week Level 2 intensive course aimed at mature students (19+) without the standard qualifications to enter higher education. You will focus on developing core skills and knowledge in health and science.
