Course content

As part of the Assessor Coach apprenticeship, you will develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours linked to a range of key areas such as:

  • Plan and conduct inclusive assessments
  • Participate in standardisation, moderation and quality assurance
  • Develop and maintain current and accurate records
  • Provide information, advice and guidance
  • Undertake continual professional development activities
Entry requirements

Desirable:

English and maths grade 4 or higher or equivalent.

Other requirements…

A qualification, at an appropriate level, and relevant up-to-date experience in the candidate’s vocational/subject specialism.

What training is required in the workplace?
  • 20% of the job time
  • Training to use appropriate IT resources
  • Mentor within the workplace
  • How to record and store information
