Learning and Skills Mentor Level 4 ApprenticeshipAs part of the learning mentor apprenticeship, you will develop skills, knowledge, and behaviours in a range of areas including: planning, recording and maintaining activities, maintaining expectations and boundaries, supporting mentees, and reflecting on the effectiveness of practice.

As part of the learning mentor apprenticeship, you will develop skills, knowledge, and behaviours in a range of areas including:
- Plan, conduct and record mentoring activities
- Use strategies to establish and maintain expectations and boundaries of mentoring contracts
- Select and use mentoring models, tools, and techniques
- Provide support to the mentee by providing information, advice, and guidance
- Evaluate and reflect on the effectiveness of own practice
- Maintain records of mentoring practice
Desirable:
English and maths grade 4 or higher.
Other requirements…
Sector-specific experience and qualifications, as determined by their employer or professional body.
- 20% off the job time
- Mentor within the workplace
- Training on any relevant IT resources
- How to record and store information
Career progression:
Further progression within their vocation specialism and/or into roles involving the assessment and coaching of vocational learners.
