IOSH Managing Safely (Virtual)

If you are responsible for following health and safety regulations in the workplace and want a better understanding of why the regulations are in place and how to carry out risk assessments then IOSH Managing Safely ® is the number one health and safety course for line managers.

Our course trainer Lynsey is a qualified H&S Consultant and an enthusiastic trainer who will breathe new life into the subject, keeping you engaged and focussed, and you will leave this course with the knowledge you need to improve your own safety at work and the safety of others.

What qualification will I gain?

You will gain an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.

How will I be assessed?

There will be two assessments during the course, a risk assessment and a written self assessment.

What will I study?

The course will cover topics such as:

  • Key terminology
  • Importance of managing health and safety in the workplace
  • How to assess, reduce, identify, and control risks in the workplace
  • Measure health and safety within your own workplaceow to apply your new knowledge in the workplace

Course progression:

You may wish to progress onto the NEBOSH National General Certificate.
