Introduction to Web Development and Responsive Web Design

Our industry experienced teaching staff will provide you with a comprehensive instructor led, classroom-based delivery.  

 You will gain an extensive introduction to what professional web developers use including: HTML 5, CSS3 and Java Script and how they are used development work.  

 You will create your own functional website.

You will study:

General Concepts of the Web

HTML 5 Overview: Basics / Transitions / Validation / Native Vector Graphics & Video / User Interface Elements /Structure and Layout

CSS Overview: Syntax / Properties & Attributes / Basic Selectors / Values and Units/ Comments / Viewports / Responsive Images & Text / Media Queries

Java Script Overview: Syntax and Java Script Basics / Statements / Functions / Variables / Operators / Arrays / Conditions & Loops / Forms

Funding Information

Pay by instalments

The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
