Gateway To Progression Diploma (Level 1)

This progression course involves advancing through structured learning modules to ensure your understanding of a specific subject. It is designed to help you build on foundational knowledge in different areas that offers a systematic approach for skill development and academic growth.

Each term of the course offers something different to ensure that each learner can try something different, this helps the learners to decide what sector is best suited to them. Having the opportunity to enter different sectors not only promotes social interaction but ensures the right course for the right Learner.

Need to know

What qualification will I gain?

Gateway to progression Level 1 Diploma.

How will I be assessed?

All assessments will be marked differently, this will include observation, written documentation, pictures and video voice recording.

Industry placement

The Animal sector attend Ark Farm, the sport and Fitness sector will be attending different establishments.

What will I study?

You will study:

Term 1:

  • Animal and cultivation
  • Carpentry
  • Bike mechanics
  • Mixed media

Term 2:

  • Animal and cultivation
  • Go kart mechanics
  • Art and textiles
  • Sport and fitness

Term 3:

  • Animal and cultivation
  • Small engine mechanics
  • Property maintenance
