Gateway Qualifications Entry Level Extended Certificate in Progression (Entry 3)

The Gateway to Progression Extended Certificate Entry Level 3 is a dynamic and flexible educational experience designed to empower students by delivering a wide range of vocational skills and essential knowledge. This course operated as a unique educational carousel, providing students with the opportunity to choose from various vocational subject each term. The curriculum features a diverse array of options including media, carpentry, bike mechanics, small business enterprise, photography, animation, go kart mechanics, and animal care and cultivation, providing students with an opportunity to explore and discover their passions, interests and potential job prospects.

Throughout the course, students will engage in a variety of purposeful units, each designed to equip them with practical skills essential for future employment or further studies, tailored to their individual aspirations. These units include topics such as health and safety, communication, time management, and budgeting, offering a solid foundation for personal and professional development.

What qualification will I gain?

Gateway to Progression Entry Level 3 Extended Certificate.

How will I be assessed?

Throughout, students will be assessed using a wide variety of assessment methods, these include Discussions, Written Work, Photographs, Practical Activities, Projects and Displays.

What will I study?

You will study:

Personal and professional units, including health and safety, time management, creating your own learning plan as well as specialised units, enabling students to dive deeper into subjects of their choice. Whether it’s building confidence with animals, honing craft skills, mastering vehicle maintenance, or participating in exercise and fitness programs, our curriculum ensures students gain a well-rounded education that caters to their unique interests and future goals.
