This course will give you the opportunity to develop a range of skills in Electrical Installation, supporting progression on to further study.

The course is well structured to allow for a solid foundation for progression to level 4 qualifications and into work.

Need to know

Entry requirements:

4 GCSEs grades 9-4 (including maths and English)  and relevant qualification at Level 2.

How will I be assessed?

Through portfolio evidence, assignments, online exams and practical assessments.

Course content

Areas of study could include:

  • Understanding Health & safety
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Electrical system design
  • Inspection, testing and commissioning
  • Career awareness

Your Tutor will be on hand to support you throughout your course to develop your skills, prepare you for your next steps and help you to achieve your goals.

Upon completing your course, you have a great range of options available to help you continue your adventure.

You can progress onto a Level 4 qualification or into employment. You can also undertake an Apprenticeship in a related field.
