Assessor Coach Level 4 ApprenticeshipThe AC is a dual professional, using their up-to-date professional knowledge and skills to support vocational and professional development across the formal ETS as well as in any employer setting, and at any level. They may, for example, coach and assess apprentices, trainees or new recruits (ranging from young entrants, to new CEOs) in the workplace, commensurate with their own level of experience and qualifications, as required by their employer or their sector.

As part of the Assessor Coach apprenticeship, you will develop knowledge, skills and behaviours linked to a range of key areas such as:
- Liaising with colleagues and relevant stakeholders
- Coaching to provide pastoral support and facilitate progress
- Using digital and mobile technologies effectively, efficiently and safely
- Assessing learners and providing feedback
- Maintaining the quality and safety of provision
- Understanding and demonstrating professionalism in all aspects of the role.

Other requirements…
A qualification, at an appropriate level, and relevant up-to-date experience in the candidate’s vocational/subject specialism.
Desirable:
English and Math’s grade 4 or higher or equivalent.
- 20% of the job time
- Training to use appropriate IT resources
- Qualification in coaching (if required.)
- Mentor within the workplace
- How to record and store information
Course progression:
Quality assurance qualification.
Career progression:
Progress onto a full teaching role within an education and training provider organisation.
