Tresham Musicians say Hello to the Big Time!

Talented musicians from Tresham College will be performing in front of an audience of thousands at the Wicksteed Park Fireworks display on Saturday 3rd November.

The students, who are all studying Music Performance & Production, competed in a ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition to win a coveted place in the final line-up. The band is called Hello Velveteurs and they will be performing covers of pop and rock songs.

“It is a great opportunity for our students to perform live in front of such a large audience.  They have been rehearsing hard and I’m sure they will make us proud on the night,” said Tresham Music Lecturer Dr Cathy Grice.

This year the Hello Velveteurs will be supported by another band from Bedford College The Know. Working together under The Bedford College Group umbrella, both colleges provide an extensive range of Level 2, Level 3, HND and HNC courses for young musicians.
