Renewable solutions

Renewable solutions were high on the agenda with explanations of how to wire home electric car charging points, new types of energy sourcing and roof photovoltaic (PV), or solar, panels.

“The skills and technical abilities being learned here at Tresham College are so important to Corby for future employment. We need to have a constant pipeline of trained talent coming through to support the industry.” Said Tom Pursglove

David Wilkins, Director of Construction at The Bedford College Group, of which Tresham is a part, said:

“This was great event put on by Will and colleagues and we thank all those suppliers and businesses who support Tresham College all year round. We’re working together to build a bright future for young people.”

Student winners of the end of year electrical awards were Elek Olah, Brandon Turner and Loren Cooper, who were presented with certificates by Tom.
