Application Stages
Stage One: Submit your application online
For all our courses you can apply through our website by looking for the ‘apply now’ button on the relevant course page. Alternatively, for full-time courses you can apply through Universities & Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
We can take applications received through the UCAS scheme up to 29 January. We will also accept applications later in the academic year through UCAS Extra and Clearing.
You can continue to apply up until the start date of the course through our website application process, so don’t worry if UCAS dates have passed.
Stage Two: Selection process
For the majority of courses you will be offered a place based on meeting the entry criteria for the course. Mature applicants without the entry qualifications but with relevant work experience will also be considered.
All students will get the opportunity to talk to their academic team about their course, however applicants applying for an Art & Design, Performing Arts or Teacher Education course, will be required to attend a guidance interview and/or assessment.
Stage Three: Receiving an offer
You should receive a formal offer of a place on a course within one week of receiving your application or within one week of the interview (if applicable). Full-time offers will be made through the UCAS portal (if you have made an application through UCAS) and via an email. For offers for full-time courses where you have not made an application through UCAS and for part-time courses, offers will be made via an email.
Stage Four: Enrolling onto your course
After A-Level Results Day you will receive an email with a link to an on–line form to complete prior to attending an in-person enrolment event where we will complete your enrolment and issue you with an ID card.
Stage Five: Starting your course
You will receive details of your course timetable at enrolment however term typically starts in the middle of September.
