From application to admission
Our application and admissions process is designed to ensure a smooth journey from application submission to the first day of term! There are just a few steps to take towards starting your journey with The Bedford College Group.
Applications for our courses can be made online. If you require any assistance when applying, you can call our team on 0345 658 8990 and they will be happy to help.
We will arrange an interview or an information, advice and guidance session so that your child can find out more about their course. They will have the opportunity to chat with a course tutor who will make an offer based on predicted or achieved grades.
Your child will be invited to attend a Discovery Day in June before they start their course. They will get a taste of college life, meet their tutors and make new friends.
If your child doesn’t quite get the grades they need to study their chosen course, you can attend our GCSE Advice Day (which is held on GCSE results day). This event is intended to help your child find the right study path for them.
Your child will be invited to an enrolment day where they will be enrolled onto their course and issued with a student ID card. It’s important that they put this in safe keeping as they will need it to access the college campus on their first day.
Your child will go through induction at their college campus. Induction is designed to help them know where to go and what they will be doing before they start full-time.
