YOUR GUIDE TO INDUCTION
We know it can be daunting starting at a new college. Our induction process is designed to ensure you get to tour the campus, meet your teaching team and other students in your class and receive your timetable for the year ahead. Don’t worry if you feel nervous, everyone is in the same boat and you will soon be settled into your new routine.
On this page you will find a copy of our campus maps that show you where to meet on your induction day and answers to some of the FAQs you may have.

All Full-time course inductions take place week commencing 6 September 2021 unless you are joining NC4M or Shuttleworth College. Your induction details will be confirmed via email, after you have enrolled online.
After you have enrolled using our online system, you will receive further information about your induction date. This will include the time you need to arrive.
You will need to come to the campus you are studying at and go to your designated subject meeting point. You can find this by clicking on the campus maps above.
You should bring a drink, notepad and pens with you to Induction. Our onsite coffee shop Munch & Mocha will also be open serving hot and cold food, drinks and snacks. Payment needs to be made by card in the coffee shop.
Induction last approximately 6 hours.
You should wear whatever you feel comfortable in – all we ask is that it doesn’t have offensive slogans on.
