Campus closure

The Bedford College Group campuses opened in September 2020 following a comprehensive risk assessment of all sites and ensuring strict safety guidelines that students, staff and visitors will be expected to follow.

No visitors are currently allowed on campus unless this has been pre-authorised for a booked appointment. Visitors must have received confirmation of a specific time and date via email, arrive wearing a face covering and follow the social distancing signage in place around campuses.

Are you still offering work experience for your students?

The College’s current position, in line with directives from the DfE, is that placements can go ahead where The College is satisfied that employers have appropriate COVID-19 risk assessments and social distancing plans in place.

For regular study programme placements (the 20hrs) The Group recommends that students and their tutors prioritise online/virtual placements where ever possible but recognised that certain courses, including the T-Levels that placements must be on site.
