Entry requirements

To begin this study programme you will need:

  • 4 GCSEs grades 9- 4 OR similar qualification at Level 2

What qualification will I gain?

You will gain:

  • Travel and Tourism NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma
  • Up to 112 UCAS Points available

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is through a variety of methods. Formal written reports and case studies, peer assessments, presentations and role plays. All assessments on the course will be internally assessed and externally verified by NCFE.

This study programme is designed to give you an in depth understanding of the travel & tourism industry, and will raise your awareness of other sectors that the industry is comprised of. You will also gain an insight into the range of opportunities currently available within the industry.

Next steps

Course/Career Progression

After completing this course, you could go on to gain employment in the Travel & Tourism industry as a travel agent, or hotel or airport staff. You could also progress into a Higher Education course.

You will be required to wear a uniform . You will be required to provide your own pens, paper and folders.

  • Day trips £150 for Level 3 Year 1 and Year 2
  • Year 2- Additional costs will be required for residential trips.

If you are looking to study a Level 3 qualification, courses might still be free if you’re under 19 or 19-23 and studying your first full Level 3 qualification.
