Social Sciences & Humanities Access to Higher Education Advanced (Level 3)Access courses are open to all learners who, because of their socio economic, personal circumstances or who have been out of formal education for a significant time to gain knowledge skills and confidence required for direct progression to degree level studies or employment with an interest in Art, cultural studies, creative writing, education, English law, media philosophy , criminology politics sociology and social work.
A student-centred approach to the curriculum, with a flexible, unit-based structure that focuses on developing on knowledge, critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills the student will need to succeed in employment and higher education. The course is structured with subject units that will give a range of knowledge and understanding.
