OverviewPrinciples of Team Leading NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)
This qualification aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team. You will develop your knowledge of the principles of team leading and your understanding of business. You will learn the skills required to support communication with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
All of the Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.

You can gain:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading
How will I be assessed?
Written assignments (online or paper-based).
What will I study?
The units you will study are:
- Unit 1: Principles of team leading
- Unit 2: Understand business
- Unit 3: Understand how to communicate work-related information
- Unit 4: Understand how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace
- Unit 5: Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace
- Unit 6: Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
- Unit 7: Understand health and safety procedures in the workplace
- Unit 8: Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation
There are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another Level 2 distance learning course or a Level 3 one. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course or other further education courses (subject to entry requirements).
Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
