Overview

Principles of Management and Leadership CMI Level 3 Certificate

These qualifications are designed for aspiring (Level 3) or practising (Level 5) middle managers and team leaders at operations, division, departmental or specialist level.. The primary focus is on leading and managing individuals and teams to deliver the aims and objectives in line with the organisational strategy.  The courses combine your practical experiences with the development of a theoretical understanding of management skills.

We offer two pathways for you to excel in your leadership practice. Dip your toe in and select the Certificate. Or choose to complete additional units to achieve the Diploma. The choice is yours and you can always “top-up” from the Certificate to the Diploma at a later date.

The Level 3 Diploma is part of the Free Courses for Jobs initiative and is fully funded for eligible learners. Alternatively, you can apply for an advanced learner loan to cover the cost of studying this course. Please ask a member of college staff for more information.

The Certificate and Diploma at Level 3 and 5 enable you to join study at a point to suit your current employment role and previous experience.  They support the development of your practice and career in leadership and management.  The study enables you to develop an understanding of the application of theoretical principles to practice and thus develop at work and support your career progression.
