OverviewPrinciples of Customer Service NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)
This qualification aims to provide you with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employees to work in a range of different environments within a customer service role. You will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks, such as how to manage information and supporting events. You will also learn how to apply your knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.
All of the Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.

What qualification will I gain?
You will gain:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service.
How will I be assessed?
Written assignments (online or paper-based).
What will I study?
The units you will study are:
- Principles of customer service and delivery
- Understand customers
- Understand employer organisations
- Understand how to communicate with customers
- Know how to process information about customers
- Understand how to resolve problems and deliver customer service to challenging customers
- Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
There are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another Level 2 distance learning course or a Level 3 one. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course or other further education courses (subject to entry requirements).
Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
