Overview

Online & Phone Counselling Competencies

In today’s digital age, online and phone counselling within the profession has become increasingly evident. The COVID-19 pandemic and the requirement for many counsellors to move to online or phone counselling also reinforced the need for a framework and curriculum to be updated and introduced.

This CPD short course has been designed to align to the BACP Online and Phone Therapy (OPT) competency framework. It is a framework and curriculum to support training and practice in online and phone therapy (formerly telephone and e-counselling competences and curricula).
