What will I study?
- Skills in Health, Safety and Good Housekeeping in the Automotive Environment
- Skills to Support Working Relationships in the Automotive Work Environment
- Introduction to Automotive Technology and Workshop Skills
- Carry out Basic Routine Vehicle Maintenance
What skills will I gain?
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Next steps
Course progression: Level 2 Year 2 in Vehicle Maintenance.

Equipment needed:
PPE is mandatory –
- Steel toe capped boots or shoes
- Work trousers or overalls
- Safety Goggles/glasses
