Domestic Gas Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters (CENWAT) BPEC Certificate

To undertake the CENWAT you must hold a current in date Domestic Natural Gas CCN1 qualification. Candidates wishing to extend their range of domestic elements for the first time are advised to contact the Plumbing department to discuss further entry requirements.

During the course you will cover topics including:

• Installation
• Commissioning
• Servicing
• Fault finding

The assessment is comprised of the following:

• A practical assessment
• A written assessment
• Where necessary additional oral questions may be asked by the assessor

On completion of the CENWAT you can now undertake other domestic gas elements.

You will need to bring three passport sized photographs and your National Insurance number. Evidence of your current ACS qualification will be required. This assessment can be taken up to six months prior to the expiry of your current qualification and you can still retain the full five years from your expiry date.

Upon payment for the course a training manual will be issued, preferably at least three weeks prior to attending the course. There is a £35 additional fee for BPEC awarding body certification.
