The top-up degree course allows students who have already completed an HND in Computing (or equivalent) to top-up their qualification to a full degree.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of HND in a computing subject (240 credits including 100 at level 5 or above).

A trip is organised each year. Competitions including WorldSkills.

Assessment methods

Assessment is made through a variety of methods, including written coursework, case studies providing solutions to computing problems, presentations, practical assessments, computer based tests and exams. Teaching methods are equally varied, including lectures, practical sessions, group work, tutorials and workshops. In addition substantial learning resources and support materials are available online VLE for use at home.

The course opens up excellent career opportunities in roles including information security officers, network analysts, networking or cybersecurity consultants, incident responders or roles within the intelligence services.
