OverviewCreating a Business Start-Up NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)
The qualification is designed for learners seeking the skills and knowledge needed to develop a business start-up. It will give learners knowledge of the first steps in creating a business start-up, including the marketing, legal and financial requirements, and an understanding of how to write a business plan.
All of the Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creating a Business Start-Up.
How will I be assessed?
Written assignments (online or paper-based).
You will study:
- Initial Steps for a Business Start-Up
- Marketing for a Business Start-Up
- Legal and Financial Considerations for a Business Start-Up
- Developing a Business Plan
There are several next steps that you can take. You can go on to study another Level 2 distance learning course or a Level 3 one. Alternatively, you could enrol on to our Access to Higher Education course or other further education courses (subject to entry requirements).
Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if you do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
