Counselling Skills Ncfe Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)Many people find it helpful to seek counselling at some point in their lives. A counsellor can provide support for people in all sorts of situations.
This online course provides the theory element of Counselling Skills Level 2.
On this programme, you will learn about core counselling skills and how to use them in a counselling relationship. You will also learn about counselling theory and the ethical framework, which includes principles such as confidentiality, respect, and non-judgment, that informs how counsellors use their skills.
This qualification aims to introduce you to the application of counselling skills in everyday life and work, as well as some of the approaches that underpin their use.
Learners are allowed to investigate the knowledge and skills needed to use counselling skills and engage in a helping interaction appropriately.
This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.
Providing you are over 19 and have lived in the UK or EU for the past 3 years, all our Level 2 courses are free. These courses last up to 16 weeks and you can start them at any point throughout the year, and complete them in your own free time.
Please note that an administration charge of £150 will be charged if the course is not completed within the allocated 16 weeks.

Entry Requirements
You will be required to complete an initial English and Maths assessment, where you must achieve over a Level 1 to have access to the course.

Written assignments (online).

- enrol on to an Access to Higher Education course or other further education courses (subject to entry requirements)
