This apprenticeship has been developed to meet the needs of individuals working within building and construction projects, maintenance repairs, residential developments, conservation and demolition.

Job roles for this apprenticeship include: Assistant Site Manager, Assistant Supervisor or Construction Site Supervisor.

The role may involve the supervision of workers and contractors working on building projects, ensuring projects conform to health and safety regulations and meeting quality guidelines.

As soon as Apprentice starts employment. Arrangements will be made to start apprenticeship and college delivery.

Entry requirements

English & Maths

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3. A British Sign Language (BSL) qualification is an alternative to the English qualification for those whose primary language is BSL.

What training is required in the workplace?
  • Learning a variety of skills to enable the apprentice to be able to develop and complete their Apprenticeship and EPA
  • 20% off the job training
  • College attendance
  • Regular 10/12/week Meetings with Training Coordinator and Apprentice to discuss progress and set SMART targets throughout apprenticeships
Further study and career options

Course progression:

On successful completion of this Higher Apprenticeship you can undertake a Degree in a Construction-related subject.

Career progression:

Manager.
