Essential:
Previous experience driving ATV or associated machinery
What qualification will I gain?
City and Guilds certificate in the safe use of All Terrain Vehicles
How will I be assessed?
Independent practical assessment following completion of the training element.
Course content
You will study:
- Protective clothes
- Hill climbing
- Daily checks/re-fuelling
- Ascent/descent/traversing
- Steering
- Limits of towing trailers
- Emergency stop
- Load capacity
Skills gained:
Understanding and practical competency in the use of All Terrain Vehicles.
Additional information
You will be required to supply your own suitable PPE including:
- steel toe capped boots
- overalls
- fitted safety helmet
