Entry requirements
Essential qualifications:
- Evidence of working at GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
Desirable qualifications:
- Level 2 in Beauty therapy
- Prior knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- A keen interest in massage therapies
The qualification
Health & Safety – City and Guilds – Level 2 Unit Award
Provide Body Massage – City and Guilds – Level 3 Unit Award
Assessment methods
Practical Assessment – You will be assessed performing body massages on models and clients in the salon (minimum of 4 x assessments)
Theory assessments – you will be assessed on the theoretical elements of the body massage and health and safety via online multiple-choice assessment.
