Overview
Awareness of Men's Mental Health Problems NCFE Level 2 Certificate (Distance Learning)The number of men who have suicidal thoughts has doubled since 2009, highlighting the urgent need for more support in men’s mental health. Although men are now more likely to see a therapist if they’re feeling worried or low, there’s still a long way to go. This online course, Awareness of Men’s Mental Health Problems, is a crucial step in addressing this issue. It comprehensively covers a wide range of different mental health problems that can affect men, including depression, stress, anxiety and PTSD. You will learn about the signs, symptoms and triggers of poor mental health, as well as the differences in how some mental health conditions present themselves in men and women.
This course is uniquely designed to concentrate on men’s mental health issues.
It achieves this by incorporating male-based scenarios, presenting new statistics that highlight the prevalence of mental health conditions in men, and exploring the differences in the signs and symptoms of various mental health conditions between men and women.
