Assistant Accountant (T Level)

The T level Accounting qualification combine classroom theory, practical learning and a substantial industry placement with an employer to ensure you have real experience in the workplace. The course has been shaped by industry experts to meet the needs of employers and businesses to allow you to enter into highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.

This course is for you if you want to start a career as an assistant accountant or payroll administrator.

Need to know

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs grades 9-4 including English and Maths OR similar at Level 2 including English and Maths.

T Level courses are for 16-19 year olds who have completed their GCSEs.

What qualification will I gain?

Level 3 (T Level) Technical Qualification in Accounting.

How will I be assessed?
  • Two externally marked exams
  • One externally marked employer-set project
Industry placement

Minimum 315-hour industry placement across the 2 years of study.
