Applied Science Intermediate (Level 2)The Qualifications in Applied Science and Technology are intended to give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that will enable them to progress to qualifications in a science or technology related area at a higher level or to employment in a science or technology related area.
Level 2 Applied Science enables students who have a keen interest in the scientific field to develop their skills and understanding. The course is intended for students who may not have achieved the required qualifications for the level 3 course in their GCSEs. Students in the past have then grown in confidence with their scientific abilities, which has enabled them to progress onto the level 3 course. Students will be taught by tutors who are experts within their field. They will also be 100% assessed via course work throughout the year which benefits those students who may struggle with exams.
