Applied Science Intermediate (Level 2)

Applied Science Bedford College students

Overview

Applied Science Intermediate (Level 2)

The Qualifications in Applied Science are intended to give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that will enable them to progress to qualifications in a science-related area at a higher level or to employment in a science-related area.

Level 2 Applied Science enables students who have a keen interest in the scientific field to develop their skills and understanding. The course is intended for students who may not have achieved the required qualifications for the level 3 course in their GCSEs. Students in the past have then grown in confidence with their scientific abilities, which has enabled them to progress onto the level 3 course. Students will be taught by tutors who are experts within their field.
