Getting to Shuttleworth
Our campus benefits from ample free car parking on site and is a short distance from the A1, with easy access from Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Hitchin and Stevenage, as well as Bedford.
The nearest mainline railway station is Biggleswade, which is served twice-hourly by the Peterborough to London Kings Cross line, stopping at nearby towns. Our campus is just a 10 minute bus journey (see above) or trip by taxi from Biggleswade station.

In conjunction with Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council, Shuttleworth College offers a network of routes, providing transport to and from the following locations, depending on demand:

There is a charge for the transport service, but if you are struggling to fund your travelling to College, you can apply for financial assistance with the costs. Further details are available by calling 01767 626222.
Subsidised bus travel
The College-run bus service is subsidised depending on your household income. In 2017/18 the cost was £150 per term if you had a household income of £30,000 or less and £225 per term for a household income over £30,000. It is cheaper if you pay for the whole year at £405 or £640 respectively.
