Abby Jones
'Beauty in Destruction'

Abby, who studies an Access to Higher Education course has titled her piece ‘Beauty in Destruction’. This is a modern dystopia piece reflecting on the world and what we leave behind with new developments.

Abby said: “I really just wanted to showcase metaphorically the way in which we leave the planet as humans. We make all of these technological advancements leaving behind breadcrumbs of what used to be. However, I wanted to show that there is still hope and that is why I decided to include the plants growing within debris.”

Abby has now accepted her place at Lincoln University, where she will be joining in September.
