Tresham College, Corby students are among the finalists in this year’s Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drinks (WNFAD) Awards.
The annual awards set out to celebrate the successes of hundreds of Northamptonshire based food and drink businesses and individuals excelling in culinary excellence.
The Food and Drink College Student of Year Award is aimed at students aged between 16 and 21 currently undertaking a full or part-time food/drink-related course at a Northamptonshire college.
Finalists for the Food and Drink College Student of the Year include:
Will McGowan, 17, from Kettering Level, 2 Hospitality and Catering he has a part-time job as Commis Chef at Kettering Spa Hotel.
Luke Wolstencroft, 18, of Kettering, Level 3 Hospitality and Catering who has a job at Kino Lounge cafe/bar in Kettering.
Both have studied previous levels at Tresham College, part of The Bedford College Group.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 12th at the awards dinner being hosted at the Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton.

Post covid the Manor Restaurant is now open again to the public Wednesday Lunchtime and Thursday Evenings. It offers good value theme nights and quizzes. A five course Christmas menu will be published soon.
