The Bedford College Group is celebrating after three students from The Bedford Sixth Form received top honours at this year’s Aspire Awards, recognising their leadership, dedication and positive impact within the college and across their local communities.
The awards celebrate the achievements of Sherelle Weeks, Iqra Quadeer and Annina Caparco, whose hard work, determination and commitment to making a difference have earned them well-deserved recognition.
Hosted by YOUTHTV Group CIC, the Aspire Awards recognise inspiring young people from across Bedfordshire who are making a real difference through their achievements, leadership and service to others.
Talent, dedication and leadership
All three award winners represented The Bedford Sixth Form, showcasing the talent, dedication and leadership of its students.
Sherelle Weeks was named Cultural Ambassador for her commitment to bringing people together and celebrating diversity across the college.
Iqra Quadeer received the Community Impact Award in recognition of her dedication to supporting others and the positive difference she continues to make, while Annina Caparco received the prestigious Young Leader Award for her exceptional leadership and inspiring impact.

“This is an incredibly proud moment for The Bedford Sixth Form. To have three of our students recognised at the Aspire Awards is a fantastic achievement and reflects not only their individual achievements, but also their dedication to supporting others and making a positive difference.
“Sherelle, Iqra and Annina have each embraced every opportunity to contribute to college life and inspire those around them. They are exceptional ambassadors for The Bedford Sixth Form and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved.”
The evening was made even more special as Bedford College and Shuttleworth College Principal, Karen Campbell, had the honour of presenting the Cultural Ambassador Award to Sherelle during the ceremony.
