Chloe Miller made the move to Bedford College from Milton Keynes and has bagged a wide range of top quality work opportunities.
Now aged 22, Chloe has just completed her HND Graphics and is currently contracted with a Milton Keynes design agency.
Since joining Bedford College, her CV has included:
- Work experience and a mentorship at Bonfire Creative Intelligence of Ampthill. “It was really cool offer.”
- A professional style presentation at VCCP agency in London for a Paddy Power proposal. “It was a really good insight into how life operates in the capital.”
- A month’s paid work with a high profile local employer after being one of those shortlisted to demonstrate brand ideas for their proposed new venture. “It was great working with the agency Eat with Your Eyes and with the actual client.”
- Winning a YCN National Design Award for her entry with two fellow students, for a design concept to re-use London’s ‘soon to be taken off the road’ diesel-powered Black Cabs.
Chloe’s work was among those on display at the Bedford College South Bank Arts Centre from June 21st and will be on show at the Truman Brewery, Shoreditch from 10- 13 July as part of the D&AD’s New Blood event – a festival to showcase the best up and coming talent from all over the UK.
“The year at Bedford College has been so different to my other experiences. The staff are so supportive and the opportunities to get real work experience are so cool,” said Chloe, who lives in Milton Keynes.
